PeterDVB-T2 PLP Test der ORS in Wien

in den Spezifikationen von DVB-T2 gibt es im Gegensatz zu DVB-T ein weiteres wichtiges Feature, welches PLP (Physical Layer Pipes) genannt wird. Damit kann man einzelne Programme unterschiedliche Robustheit (Fehlerschutz und Modulationsart) zuteilen. So kann man auch Versorgungsgebiet und Empfangbarkeit der einzelnen Programme unterschiedlich konfigurieren.
Gestern haben wir endlich die Updates für den Modulator und das Gateway erhalten, welche es uns nun ermöglichen, PLP einzuschalten und zu testen.
Wir haben nun die drei HD Programme (ORF1HD, ORF2HD und Servus TV HD) mit 16-QAM konfiguriert.

Das Radioprogramm Ö1 wird testweise mit QPSK abgestrahlt.

Falls es jemandem komisch vorkommt, dass die Symbolpunkte verdreht sind.
Dieses DVB-T2 Feature nennt man "Rotated Constellation"

testing

Hello, is there any plan, how long ORS will be testing DVB-T2? Somewhere I was reading the date 3/2011. I would like to buy some DVB-T2 STB for my testing, but if it will not continue after this date, it's not actual for me only for few months. I have strong signal here in south Moravia, all of the multiplexes from Kahlenberg have more than 70 dBuV, so I don't have problem to receive it.

dvb-t2 trail

at the moment the dvb-t2 trail runs till End March 2011 and we plan to test the system in more details within the next months (so lot of parameters will change during the weeks). Therefore I cannot recommend that you buy a dvb-t2 box now.

Regelbetrieb?

Hallo,
gibt es irgendwas neueres zu DVB-T2 in Wien?

Regelbetrieb, verfügbare Empfangsboxen, evtl. eine Karte wo der Empfang überhaupt möglich ist?
